Vocal Showdown was created to make it as simple as possible to showcase the best vocal talent around. Why bother
waiting in line for hours or even days to reach an audience with these other talent shows? Singers should be able to
reach a vast audience without ever having to leave the comfort of their own room, and Vocal Showdown is here to
make that a reality!
Rules:
This season the rules will be slightly different. The competition will be broken up into 3 rounds. The 1st round will
be open to everyone. The 2nd round will be comprised of only the top 10 videos from the 1st round. The 3rd round will
be comprised of the top 3 videos from round 2. The vote count will be reset after each round and after the 3rd round, a winner will
be determined. Here are the voting deadlines for each round:
Round 1 Voting Deadline: March 5, 2010
Round 2 Voting Deadline: April 2, 2010
Round 3 Voting Deadline: April 30, 2010
How to post:
1. Singers should record themselves singing either a cappella or with a soft accompaniment. Remember your voice
should be the focal point.
2. The recorded video should then be uploaded onto 
3. Create an account with Vocal Showdown, click on the "post a video" link seen on our site, and you will be able to use the link
of your video to post a video onto our site for the current contest. THE LINK MUST BE A LINK!
You may submit more than one video per contest if you wish, but each poster can only win for one video. Previous winners may not win again.
4. Get as many people as possible to vote thumbs up for your video and you win the money!
